What is botulinum toxin ("Botox©")?
Facial lines, such as frown lines, are caused by the repeated use of the facial muscles in a particular manner. Botulinum toxin is a purified bacterial substance that blocks muscle nerve signals. We safely inject botulinum toxin to temporarily immobilise facial muscles. This, in effect, puts the frown muscles to sleep for 3-4 months, diminishing unwanted wrinkles and frown lines that appear across the forehead and at the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet).
What are dermal fillers?
These are substances which lift fine lines and wrinkles, add fullness to lips and elevate deep folds and skin creases.
